COOLAIR’S
FIBERGLASS FANS REDUCE ENERGY COSTS
GAINESVILLE,
Ga. (Jan. 21, 2003) - American Coolair’s fiberglass
fans, available with either 52-inch cast aluminum or formed stainless
steel blade assemblies, are the company’s most energy efficient
fans to date.
The 52-inch models, introduced last year, offer excellent energy
efficiency, providing up to 20 percent more air flow than the
previous 48-inch model. The 52-inch models fit into the same size
openings as 48-inch fans, making it easy to upgrade to the higher-capacity
fan.
At typical operating conditions of .05” of static pressure,
the FGBR52 fan, featuring the stainless steel blade, is the most
efficient and cost effective choice. However, at static pressures
exceeding .10”, the FGBC52 fan, with its cast aluminum blade,
is the more efficient solution.
The fans come equipped with Coolair’s innovative drive assembly,
where V-belt power is transmitted directly through the bearings
and totally enclosed resilient based, ball bearing ¾ H.P.,
1 H.P., or 1 ½ H.P. motors. The result is more economical
fan operation coupled with substantially increased bearing life.
American Coolair will feature the fiberglass fan line at the 2003
International Poultry Exposition, booth 1664.
