AMERICAN COOLAIR CORPORATION introduces to the commercial and restaurant ventilation equipment markets a new type of centrifugal wheel drive... one that has over 65 years of field experience in both wall and power roof ventilator axial propeller fans.

The centrifugal wheel bolts directly to the new C-DRIVE... an all aluminum cast disc and driven sheave assembly, which incorporates a static shaft with permanently sealed ball bearings. Unlike the "pillow block bearing" drive arrangements found in all other ventilating equipment today (with overhung loading to the bearings), the C-DRIVE transmits the drive forces through the oversized bearings. In turn, the calculated bearing life is off the chart! This means a virtually maintenance free piece of equipment to you and your customer.

The heavy gauge drive package is supported on vibration isolators, and utilizes a hinged motor mount with tensioner. The C-DRIVE positions the motor shaft down, providing easy electrical access for wiring and motor nameplate information. The C-DRIVE wheel assembly is completely removable by just two bolts.
