JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Jan. 13, 2015) — American Coolair Corp. has developed its MXF mixed flow fans to combine the high volume flow capabilities of an axial fan and the pressure capabilities of a centrifugal fan.

The MXF fans were designed to provide an economical and efficient solution to a company’s duct fan needs. The durable mixed flow fans work well in all environments and can handle elevated temperature, as well contaminated air situations.

“With the mixed flow fans, you get the best qualities of the axial and centrifugal fans,” American Coolair President Harry Graves said. “The MXF fans are extremely resilient in very tough working environments.”

The fan housing, motor supports and mixed-flow wheel are constructed with heavy gauge welded steel. The housing and wheel are coated with epoxy to provide a protective coating. They are rated excellent for hardness, impact resistance, adhesion and chemical resistance. MXF fans are belt driven models designed for quiet operation and low initial cost.

Founded in 1928, American Coolair Corporation is a manufacturer of ventilation and evaporative cooling systems for the poultry, swine, dairy, greenhouse and golf industries.  American Coolair also produces axial, centrifugal, high temperature and mixed flow fans for commercial, industrial, and restaurant applications.
