American Coolair and Air Solutions Collaborate on In-House Loading Fan

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 19, 2015) — American Coolair Corp. and Air Solutions have worked together to manufacture an In-House Loading Fan that reduces heat stress on birds as they are placed on trucks.

Catching, loading and transporting birds create a higher risk of heat stress. The portable In-House Loading Fan, which runs off a gas engine, can be moved as needed to increase air movement around the birds and help lessen the strain.

The In-House Loading Fan uses an American Coolair 36-inch Tube-Axial Fan, which was originally created for use while gathering birds for caging. Air Solutions designed and built the frame and engine for the fan.

The high velocity fan moves air at 34,000 cubic feet per minute at 0.125 inches of static pressure (w.g.) with a 4,500 feet per minute outlet velocity.

Founded in 1928, American Coolair Corporation is a manufacturer of ventilation and evaporative cooling systems for the poultry, swine, dairy,
greenhouse and golf industries.  American Coolair also produces axial, centrifugal, high temperature and mixed flow fans for commercial, industrial, and restaurant applications. For more information, call 904-389-3646, write P.O. Box 2300, Jacksonville, FL 32203, or e-mail:
